The silk

Silk is close to our hearts, and we meticulously select fabrics that meet organic, natural, hand-made, and fair trade standards.

This led us to collaborate with the Soil to Silk project, which is the foundation of Charma scarves. The essence of this project lies in the authentic, traditional methods practiced in sericulture towns across India. Here, silk is not merely a luxurious fabric; it is a work of art, crafted with unwavering dedication and care. Embracing eco-friendly practices, we prioritize the health of our planet, preserve biodiversity, support local communities, and honor traditional handcraft methods. Our entire process is free from harmful chemicals, preserving the natural integrity of the materials. We take great pride in contributing to environmental protection and the well-being of the artisans who make this magic happen.

Although the silk used for our scrunchies and headbands is not from the Soil to Silk project, we ensure that it aligns with our values. We source organic and non-violent peace or Ahimsa silk from responsible producers who adhere to fair trade standards. Each piece is a testament to our commitment to ethical practices and respect for both the environment and the skilled artisans who create these exquisite fabrics.

Join us in celebrating the art of silk, woven with love and care for our planet and its people. Together, we can embrace the elegance of silk with a conscious heart.
