Did you know?

...that the fashion industry is the second largest polluter in the world right after agriculture. A part of this problem are the synthetic dyes used in the textile industry. Many of them are made form petroleum based raw materials, do not biodegrade in the nature, can be very harmful to all of the living world and cause skin irritations and allergies. The waste water can contain harmful substances such as lead, mercury, arsenic and nitrobenzene, to name a few. The worst part is, that in many places, the waste waters are released into the waterways and the nature. This creates health problems to the local people and the nature around the factories.

Charma products are hand dyed with natural resources, Icelandic wild foraged plants, natural dye extracts and food waste without the use of harmful and toxic chemicals.
